Rita Harvey made her Broadway debut performing the role of Christine Daae in The
Phantom of the Opera after two years performing the role with the second national tour.
She starred as Hodel in the recent Broadway revival of Fiddler On The Roof and as
Lady Edith in the new Off-Broadway musical The Prince and the Pauper at the Lamb's
Theater.
Regional and stock productions include Laurey in Oklahoma!; Johanna in Sweeney
Todd (both at Marriott's Lincolnshire Theater); Julie Jordan in Carousel; Christine in
Maury Yeston's Phantom, Amalia in She Loves Me, Fiona in Brigadoon, Ann Collier in
1940's Radio Hour, and Katrin in the play I Remember Mama.
In NYC Rita has performed in Mim; A Love Story (title role), Come Dance With Me
(Laura), and as Betsy in Musicals Tonight's production of Dearest Enemy.

Favorite opera roles include Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Adele in Die Fledermaus,

The Medium.
She can be heard on many recordings including her own solo CD, Letting Go, and 100
Years of Broadway. Others include the original cast recordings of The Prince and the
Pauper, Tim, and A Tale of Two Cities.
Rita has performed as featured soloist in numerous industrial concerts across the country
with stars such as Betty Buckley, Michael Crawford, Lillias White and Ben Vereen.
